Main Responsibilities:
- Take part in training and implement accordingly
- Train and motivate subordinates for which he/she is responsible
- Keep his superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
- Be aware about the weekly/monthly roster and abide to it
- Respect and abide to the grooming standard
- Be aware of all cocktail recipes
- Take guests’ order promptly and do the proper follow up
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement
- Report customer complaints efficiently and reports to his/her superior
- Propose the cocktail of the day to guests
- Check stock levels of the bar, prepare requisitions and ensure replenishment is done timeously
- Present bill to guests and ensure that they are signed or paid and post same on the system
- Handle all materials and equipment to avoid breakages and perform inventories
- Ensure that closing down procedures are followed
- Promote bar items as per upselling standards
- Attend daily briefings in his/her department
- Regularly clear the bar counter, and empties ashtrays
- Perform “mise en place” of the bar counter
- Display bottles and ensure that glasses are polished
- Ensure cleanliness of furniture, fixtures and equipments in respective bar
- Perform “mise en place” for cocktails and prepare drinks
- Welcome guests and serve snacks and beverage
- Check daily requisitions
- Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
- Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
Candidate’s Profile:
- SC level or equivalent, professional training and experience
- At least 2 years work-related experience in F&B operation in the related field
- Fluent both in English and French, a third language would be an advantage
