Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily deliveries which will be cross-checked by Warehouse Manager prior to load into delivery vehicle.
- Identify products, references and quantities to be delivered
- Safe and careful driving – Goods vehicle need to be cleaned daily after deliveries
- Check vehicle maintenance dates
- Ensure delivery vehicle is well maintained and in good working conditions
- Report any repairs/changes to be made
- Ensure careful handling of delivery equipment and goods
- Drop and fetch goods as and when required
- Ensure good count of received goods and delivered goods
- Work in Cold rooms – negative and positive cold rooms
- Ensure efficient use of materials to minimise costs
- Ensure cleanliness of working place/ warehouse premises
- Inform Superior shall there be any damage/breakage of handled goods – reject/spoilage as per SOP
- Any other tasks for proper Warehouse running needs
- Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
Candidate’s Profile:
- Theoretical knowledge (Form III) and/or prior professional experience
- Truck Driving License 3 years experiences minimum (goods vehicle)
- Good knowledge of the island’s geography
- Fluent in English and French
