Front Office Manager

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor room allocation, arrivals, departures and cancellations & no-shows
  • Coordinate the roster of the reception team and ensure that there is complete coverage at all times to optimize productivity and staff efficiency at all times
  • Ensure that there is a strict adherence of all team members to the Front Office Standards
  • Attend and coordinate/conduct Front Office meetings and daily briefings
  • Organize the activities of the receptionist on day to day basis
  • Look into the day to day correspondence of the mails and reservations
  • Ensure that reservations are uploaded on PMS as per standard
  • Coordinate closely with Sales Team for all booking requests / guests special requests / Special Promos / Room Rates
  • Ensure that guests profiles are updated on PMS as per the existing norms of the hotel
  • Keep the Operations Manager informed of any matters impeding day-to-day operations and submit daily report of any discrepancies
  • Assist the Operations Manager or any other HOD whenever there is any upgrade of rooms’ amenities to be made
  • Ensure that the level of service provided is at the highest level at all times
  • Assist in the preparation of the Front Office Budget
  • Ensure that all expenses in Front Office are within budget established
  • Provide leads, referrals and prospective customers to the Sales team, etc.

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent professional certificate
  • Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration/Management would be an advantage
  • At least 5 years work-related experience in front-office operation with at least 3 years in a supervisory position
  • Computer literacy including hotel management system
  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage
