Front Office Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take part in training and implement accordingly
  • Conduct daily briefing and delegate task
  • Conduct and ensure that employees receive adequate and satisfactory on-the-job training
  • Keep his superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
  • Ensure that discipline prevails within the team and communicates any disciplinary issues to Superior / HR Manager
  • Play an active role in the team and ensure smooth and satisfactory hand-over between shifts
  • Assist in the building of an efficient team by taking interest in their welfare, safety and development
  • Coordinate & supervise activities to ensure optimum care and assistance to guests
  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations
  • Ensure high level of quality services are delivered to guests at all times
  • Handling and monitoring of guests complaints and the relevant follow up action required
  • Ensure checking-in and checking-out all Hotel guests in a timely and courteous manner
  • Assist his superior in ensuring a proper manning during the shift
  • Assist his superior in managing the budget efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure that daily miscellaneous reports are sent to direct reporting line
  • Ascertain that check lists are dully filled and signed
  • Handling of paymaster
  • Ensure respective TMs are operating as per Quality Management System
  • Ensure respective TMs are operating as per S&H regulations and policies
  • Establish all quality procedures in collaboration with the quality manager and ensure the follow-up
  • Keeping the Superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
  • Play an active role in the team and ensure smooth and satisfactory hand-over between shifts
  • Ensure proper follow-up of all entries in the Log Book
  • Keep correct Guests details on the system
  • Check list of arrivals, departures and billing of guests to ensure correct inputs
  • Update occupancy list and submit copy to porter and receptionist / telephone operator
  • Keep updated on list of arrivals and departures and plan activities of the day
  • Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
  • Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society

Candidate’s Profile:

  • HSC level or equivalent / SC level with professional training experience
  • Diploma with specialisation in Front Office from a recognized institution (NC4)
  • 3 Years experience in hotels or resorts as Receptionist or Guest Relation and strong familiarity with hotel management system
  • Fluent both in English and French, a third language would be an advantage
