Main Responsibilities:
- Take part in training and implement accordingly
- Keep superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
- Be aware about the weekly/monthly roster and abide to it
- Take reservation for guests, check table reservation and escorts guests to their table and seats them and ensure guests are seated in allocated tables
- Converse with guests to obtain feedback and suggestion for improvement
- Identify any particular requirements customers may have
- Provide facilities to guests by supplying information on the restaurants
- Communicate guests’, visitors’ or repeaters’ preference of meals, drinks, cocktails and special requirements (e.g. allergies)
- Handle customer efficiently through appropriate interaction and action and/or referral to management
- Ensure that guests complaints are communicated to immediate superior
- Increase sales by making suggestions, answering guests’ questions about the theme evenings, à la carte” or menu and making use of suggestive selling techniques
- Ensure proper billing and cashiering is done as and when required
- Attend daily briefings and follow instructions from superiors concerning the daily planning of the outlet that he/she is assigned to work for
- Check and confirm all reservations and records them in the appropriate logbook
- Administer and work on guest History/ preferences and particular requirements
- Check if any special events happening daily
- Help Waiters in their daily activities
- Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
- Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
Candidate’s Profile:
- Basic theoretical knowledge (secondary level) and/or prior professional experience in the related field
- At least 6 months work-related experience
- Fluent in English and French, a third language would be an advantage
