Leisure & Sports Supervisor

Overview of the Role:
Help ensure all Sports, Leisure, and Entertainment activities run smoothly and meet quality standards. Manage the Sports & Leisure team to provide great guest experiences, maintain service quality, and support team growth. Oversee daily operations, monitor team performance, and manage the budget to keep the department running efficiently and profitably.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist HR and Sports & Leisure Manager in selecting Sports & Leisure team members
  • Support the supervisor in conducting performance appraisals and identifying training needs for team members
  • Maintain team discipline, addressing and reporting any disciplinary issues to HR or the supervisor
  • Ensure smooth handovers and team cohesion between shifts
  • Coordinate and supervise activities to provide optimal guest care and high-quality service standards
  • Customize entertainment activities based on guest demographics
  • Manage guest complaints and gather feedback to enhance service quality
  • Prepare and manage duty rosters, monitor punctuality, and control absenteeism
  • Plan and manage annual leave schedules to maintain coverage and reduce overtime costs
  • Promote upselling opportunities and maximize revenue potential
  • Conduct inventory checks and report any breakages or equipment issues
  • Oversee the department’s budget, monitoring costs and ensuring financial targets are met
  • Enforce adherence to safety, health, and quality management standards
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate operational updates and goals
  • Coordinate the setup and execution of Sports & Leisure activities as per the program schedule

Candidate’s Profile:

  • SC level or equivalent
  • Gym/Sport Monitor Certificate
  • NTC2 Entertainment/Sports
  • Gym or sport Instructor (for as least 2 year) or Entertainer as least for 4 years
  • Must be computer literate
  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken, a third language would be an advantage
