Maintenance Coordinator

Main Responsibilities:

  • Take part in training and implement accordingly
  • Play an active role in the team
  • Keep his superior informed about all unusual matters concerning any plans affecting his/her area
  • Ensure high level of quality services are delivered at all times
  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations
  • Keep superior informed with customers’ complaints
  • Carry out Monthly Stock Inventory in the maintenance department in collaboration with the Cost
  • Controller/Accounts Clerk
  • Perform monthly purchase of items for repairs and maintenance
  • Prepare Purchase Request on Winhms and forward to Account department
  • Assist in the preparation of budget (CAPEX/OPEX)
  • Prepare utilities report (CWA/CEB/GAS) and forward thereon to Superior
  • Perform data input on Vipertex System for rosters and WINHMS system for other related issues
  • Answer, direct phone calls, take and distribute messages
  • Review files and records to answer request for information
  • Check and distribute documents and correspondence
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain a proper and efficient filing system
  • Liaise with Housekeeping and Front Office department regarding arrivals and departures
  • Coordinate work functions with fellow worker and other departments
  • Liaise with S&H Officer pertaining to H&S related issues
  • Liaise with Central Purchasing Office – Head Office for creation of new suppliers and item code respectively
  • Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
  • Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society

 

Candidate’s Profile:

  • School Certificate at least or equivalent                                                                                                                                 
  • Training in Secretarial or Administrative duties would be an advantage
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position                                                                                                                                 
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken Computer literacy including hotel management system
  • such as Opera, Micros, Win HMS…
