This position is to be posted in our offices in Mapou.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handle calls from and to the reservations department in a professional, efficient and courteous manner
- Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations received by phone, fax or email
- Ensure data entry accuracy into the reservation system
- Keep accurate and detailed electronic notes upon completion of each booking transaction
- Set-up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies
- Recommend suitable options, if necessary and consider upselling of products to increase revenue for the company
- Make sure that all information, pricing done in the Reservation Software are correct and up to date
- Support and help team members
- Ensure any other tasks as may be assigned by Management
Candidate’s Profile:
- Higher School Certificate or equivalent
- Professional Training from Hotel School will be a plus
- Previous experience in a similar position will be a plus
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken, a third language would be advantage
- Computer literate including hotel management system
