Overview:
- The Revenue & E-Commerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s online presence and revenue generation. This includes overseeing room stock, pricing strategies, OTA connectivity, revenue analysis, booking engine management, data reporting, and guest queries.
Your role:
- Manage stock of rooms in accordance with Revenue management strategies, including closing and opening of sales on different channels
- Manage price loading on systems, including price audit
- Perform pricing benchmarking and monitor deviation
- Establish, Manage and Service connectivity with OTAs, B2B channel and 3rd party websites
- Assist to establish process to manage connectivity
- Assist in contracting process with OTAs (filing OTAs rate sheets)
- Analytical follow-up of Revenue Performance on Business Intelligence Tools
- Assist Revenue Managers with new implementation/project
- Manage and be responsible for online travel agents’ websites (Extranet) in terms of rate management, profile management/maintenance, etc.
- Manage all our booking engines on our websites (i.e. contents, rates, availability…)
- Verify all our extranets and keep informed about all new bookings
- Prepare data reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data on a weekly/monthly/ ad-hoc statistics for all online bookings, using proper presentation supports (ex Powerpoint)
- Spot discrepancies and take appropriate action in accordance with management
- Attend to queries receive from Guests for all our online booking queries (mail, telephone)
- Ensure verification of supplier’s contract including rates, restriction,etc.
- Verify and action (insertion of budget codification) payment of commissions to OTAs
- Verify and action refund to clients (as/when required) in accordance with management
- Verify payment received from clients
- Handle queries from online guests
- Assist in groups qualification process
- Keep track of payments
- Be up to date with major evolutions (especially technical aspects) of ecommerce platforms
- Assist in creating and revising systems and procedures for ongoing/new projects
- Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement tasks either through offline or online channels.
- Support teams (Central reservation office, hotels, finance department, etc) by providing assistance in using e-commerce tools
- Assist Business and Revenue Executive to issue availability report as well as reports on figure using available tools including BI tools
- Monitor the impact of yielding/Stop sell actions and highlight any deviation to plan
- Must have basic knowledge of AI tools
- Comply with all the sustainability commitments and practices implemented within business units
- Notify the Sustainable Development Department of any matters that may pose any impact to the environment and society
Your profile:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2-5 years of experience in Business, Hotel Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, revenue management, or related fields
- Strong analytical skills for pricing benchmarking and revenue performance analysis
- Technical aptitude for managing online platforms and booking engines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, for data reporting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive approach with the ability to prioritize and implement tasks
- Collaboration skills for working with internal teams and OTAs
- Industry knowledge and awareness of e-commerce platform developments
